I forgot this. This video made me sad, hopeful, and contemplative.
Oh the power of ice cream.
Okay the cupcake fad has gone a bit too far, and I think there's more than enough cupcakes in this world (although I do enjoy Ellie's strawberry-filled cupcakes, not too sweet, seem to be just nice!), but... wait! What IS this here that I see???
@_@..
It's the most awesomest cupcake design in the galaxy, that's what!
I could stare at these forever.

A solemn conversation yesterday evening about Heath Ledger.
"Me: Hey... let's go have dinner... in remembrance of Heath Ledger...
Jean: Alas... so sad. Yes, we shall. And we must each portray a character that he has played before.
Me: Err...
Jean: You will be Joker, coz you always joking around. I will be Cassanova, and Ah Tung will be from Brokeback Mountain."
*Btw, Ah Tung is Jean's boyfriend.
Anyway, we are in no way making fun of him. It's sad that he died at such a young age. We still remember him from 10 Things I Hate About You. Sigh.

A very late post, but yes, this woman is home to Ando The Rowbawt :D
Jo got me a Lomo! We call it "Lou Mou" which means mother in Canto. We were in the Section 17 6 to 9 Grill Nasi Lemak restaurant during lunch when she passed it to me.
"Me: (so excited) Wowowow! Let's take a pic!!!
Jo: Eh must put film first..
Me: Oh ya! (takes out film from the film container)
Jo: Okay let's see how do we open this... (fiddles with Lomo a bit before it pops open for the film area)
Me: Okay... (looks at film in hand, looks inside the Lomo camera) ... how do we this again? Can't be too hard rite? We used to study photography and had film SLRs, rite? Eheheh... (sweat)
Jo: Uhh.. yea, I guessssss.
(Both of us stare at the inside of the camera)
Jo: I think the film goes into the left side right...
Me: Yeah I think so... ok there it goes... and I think we drag the film to the right hand side rite?
Jo: I guess...
Me: EH! So hard to drag wan. Are you sure ah?? :O
Jo: Pull harder lah.
Me: What if rosak! ERR got manual ah??
Jo: (digs the box for the manual and quickly flips through the standard Lomo manual that is filled with pictures and colours everywhere) Argghh I hate these design-y manuals, so hard to read!
Me: Ya loh! (we both studied design)
Jo: Ok hook the film hole onto the hook thing on the right....
Me: Ahuh... urm... okay... uh... SHIT! STUCK D!!!!
Jo: Just pull lah!
Me: You sure??
Jo: I dunno! This manual doesn't say anything!
Me: Pengsan!! Ok lah just pull... Oh can! Phew.
Jo: Eh the film got unhooked pulak.
Me: Crap now gotta hook it back.
(Both fiddle with the film in the camera)
(After 5 hours...)
Me: Ok! Done! I mean, should be done rite? Oh well. Let's take a pic!!!! (holds camera up and cranes neck towards Jo)
Jo: Uhh... this is old school camera wor... not wide like our digital cameras leh... might not be able to see our faces...
Me: Aiyak! Ya hor... Uhh nevermind!! We can put on the table and take picture! AHA! (proceeds to clear table to stand the camera)
Jo: Uhh.. no tripod wor...
Me: Aiyak! Ya hor... Uhh nevermind!! We just put on the table, and then we bend down a bit lah! AHA!!!
Jo: Uhhh... this camera no timer also...

And to think we were photography students.... :p

He was reading Steve Job's unauthorized biography.
I was reading this:

Then I started laughing and laughing.
You see this breed here? (on the right page)

They are called Borzois. They can catch wolves ok!
Distinguishing features include the "WaSSSSSSSSSSAAaaap" face (kinda like the picture was taken halfway while they were saying "WaSSSSSSSSSSAAaaap").
Don't believe me? Take a look at all the pics featured on the page:
Kan??

We've got a little handsome visitor at the office. He's Cat's rabbit. Look, he's licking my hand.
Lickedylick. Like a dog. Only his tongue is the dry type. So it's kinda like soft sandpaper.
He has a really cool name too. Are you ready for it? Are you?
You sure?
Okay. His name is.....
Ok apparently Seng Jinn lied to me. His name is NOT Rabbit.
His name is...
As mentioned before-- access to unisex toilets create opportunities for entertaining epics.
Colleague 1: "You know what I hate? People who knock on the door when you're taking a crap in the toilet. I used to have a friend who would keep knocking non stop on the toilet door when he knows I'll be inside taking a crap. Damn irritating la!"
Me: "Hahahahahha!"
15 minutes later he goes into the toilet.
Me: *knocks continuously on the toilet door* "Oi what you doing, oi oi oi, HALOOOO what you doingggggggggg!!! Muahahahahha!!! *knock knock knock* Alo alo al--...."
Colleague 1: (in an innocent but annoyed voice) "Oiii... I'm wanking lah!"
Me: @_@ .... "HAHAHHAHHAHA idiot."

Lately, during our Alaling practices, we have been coming up with new material. For some strange reason, Adlin always comes up with songs about Russia. So hopefully one day we'll have enough material to release a CD called Songs About Russia. As a sneak preview, here's one of the songs from that said compilation.
p/s He made up the lyrics on the spot! Much respect to Adlin!!
ppppp/s You can now download our tunes here. Beware, tho. Loads of silliness. Wee-kee.

Oh no, it feels so long since I last blogged here, that I'm not sure if I still know how. Since my dear uncle's passing, it was just hard to get back here and pretend nothing changed. My uncle died of cancer. He was like a second father to me. He looked so different on the hospital bed, having lost tons of weight. But it's ok, he still had his humour in him. He was always the funny man (much like my own dad).
On one of the days when I went down to Singapore to visit him at the hospital, he was so weak, but when he saw me, he asked "How's your band?" and he played a little air guitar riff. That's my uncle :-)
Don't want to say much, I still miss him when I think about not being able to ever see him again (except in heaven la).
But yeah, will be back shortly.
(Coz I'm not really a tall one. Ha ha, geddit? Geddi... OK FINE I KNOW IT'S LAME. -_-" )

Top 5 ways to know when someone just took a dump in the toilet:
5. The Palmolive Hand Soap bottle is moved from its usual place at the sink to anywhere within a 30 centimeter radius of the toilet bowl, be it the floor, or shelf, or the toilet bowl top cover.
4. You suddenly find strange objects lying on the usually empty shelf by the toilet bowl, ie a nice man-ring
3. New reading material turns up in the usually empty shelf by the toilet bowl, ie radio scripts, today's paper, Hello! mag.
2. You see some sisa-sisa in the bottom of the bowl, ie floaters
ANDDDDDD......
1. The toilet smells like KFC.
Oh man this made me laugh so hard my tummy ached. Thanks Chern Liang!

Homer has got to be the most ridiculous man ever. He's so useless, he only has emotions for:
1. Donuts
2. Lately, Spiderpig (... Spiderpig, Does whatever a Spiderpig can), and...
3. Donuts.
Oh and chilli cookouts, Duff Beer, and going to Moe's (but I still feel donuts still hold the supremest reign).
Marrying someone like Homer would only drive me INSANE. Whenever he pulls a stupid gag, I always cringe and think "Oh God please NEVER let my husband be like that!" My heart goes out to Marge for the stroke of bad luck.
Until I saw the 13th ep of Season 6, "And Maggie Makes Three".
"When Marge insists on the weekly hour for the family without TV, they decide to spend the time looking through the family photo albums. Bart and Lisa comment on the lack of baby pictures for Maggie, so to explain for it Homer starts a long story beginning with Maggie's conception and birth. Homer hated working at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, and had a dream job of working at a bowling alley. Through "careful" budgeting, he managed to make that dream come true. He quit the power plant, and went to get a job at Barney’s Bowl-A-Rama. It meant less pay, but also less stress, a friendly atmosphere, and enabled them to have just enough money to get by with the four of them.
However, when Homer and Marge "snuggled" to celebrate this development, she became pregnant.
. . .
Homer was not happy when he found out about the new baby, and completely unenthusiastic about the impending birth. Because of the financial problems caused by the pregnancy of the baby, Homer was forced to quit his dream job and go back to the Power Plant. Mr. Burns smugly allowed him to return, but only after placing a plaque in Homer’s station saying "Don’t forget: you’re here forever", to remind him that he could never quit again. As much as he dreaded the idea of having another child, as soon as Maggie was born, Homer immediately fell in love with her. When Bart and Lisa still don't understand what that has to do with Maggie's pictures, Homer just merely mentions that they're in the place where he needs them the most. The scene then cuts to his workplace with all of Maggie's pictures positioned around the plaque to alter it into saying "Do it for her.""
And that's when I fell in love.
If I married Homer, I'd still be pissed off at him on a daily basis, but I'd still remember why I loved him in the first place. So here's a picture that's very close to my heart, of me sharing a tender moment with Homer (sorry Marge, pinjam a while ah pls):

I believe that unisex toilets create great opportunities for epics. This is what happens when your office has a common unisex toilet.
Girl opens the toilet door.
Girl screams. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"
Girl slams the door shut.
Girl gasps, eyes wide open, and runs back to her desk.
. . .
Two whole minutes pass by.
. . .
The toilet door slowly opens.
Guy slowly walks out nonchalantly, turns and looks at the girl, and he says "Er... ahem. I was just sitting down lah. *nervous laugh* "

I don't suppose it's much fun to bathe with Palmolive's Sensual Aromatherapy Body Wash in Blood Red when you're menstruating.
Nor would it be "sensual"... heheh.

I have been the most horrible fruitfly in the universe. Here is the (very latelatelateltaeatate) post of Jiggles (and some of Meowie's) pics I promised you eons ago. *slaps forehead*
So like, one day, we took Jiggles out for a walk. Which reminds me, her nails need to be clipped.
every other dog does it whattt. Like, in comics.
And yes, she found lots of good spots to pee on.
